Setting Up Netgear Orbi in Bridge Mode

When wanting to use the Orbi router with another existing router or gateway, it is best to proceed with setting up Orbi in bridge mode. What it does is disable Orbi's routing features and turn it into a mesh Wi-Fi extender.

Netgear Orbi setup starts with connecting the Orbi router via Ethernet to your existing modem/router. Access the Orbi admin page by going to http://orbilogin.com

in your browser. Then log in with your user credentials, head to the Advanced Settings, and select Bridge Mode. Confirm your choice, and the Orbi will reboot.
